  1. I’ve been drinking cold brew more recently, so of course I googled the nutrition info and I was surprised to see that it says 0mg** of caffeine. This can’t be right, right? Does that just mean that it’s inconsistent, or this actually a caffeine free drink?

  2. Hey I know this one! Cold brew has 25 mg of caffeine per ounce. Remember if you’re getting a grande cold brew the cup is 16 oz but there is 8oz of coffee and 8 oz of ice. Regular hot and iced coffee is 20 mg of caffeine per oz so the cold brew has a bit extra. I believe I got this information from the starbucks app. If you go to order a beverage with mobile order and pay and scroll down it gives you nutrition info. I just checked the app and it says 0mg caffeine. No clue why but I know I’m right.

  3. Cold brew coffee reaches it’s highest concentration of caffeine in just 6-7 hours of brew time and not 12-24 hours

  4. I thought caffeine was always extracted pretty quickly in any coffee brewing method. Doesn’t mean it’ll taste good after 6 hours. The rest of the time is for the flavor of the beans to get extracted.
